Board View & Zones
- What it is
- The numbers drawn on a play-slip style board, with row, column and nine-zone counts.
- How it is calculated
- We lay numbers 1 to N on a board shaped like the playboard on a ticket slip (Powerball: 12 numbers per row, Mega Millions: 17 per row). The first row is shorter because the slip uses part of it for a label. The layouts were read from slip photos and can differ by state or when a slip is redesigned. Zones cut the board into thirds across and down.
- How to read it
- Brighter cells were drawn more often. Rows, columns and zones show whether draws are spread across the slip or bunched in one area.
- What it can't tell you
- Where a number sits on a paper slip has no effect on the draw. This view is for pattern-watching only.
- Common misunderstanding
- 'Patterns on the slip show what is coming.' Visible shapes in random data are normal and meaningless.
This site does not guarantee winning. Lottery draws are random and past results do not predict future results. Every chart here describes the past. It cannot raise your chances of winning.
