Delta System
- What it is
- A way of looking at a draw through the differences between its sorted numbers instead of the numbers themselves.
- How it is calculated
- Sort the five white balls. Delta 1 is the lowest number, delta 2 is the second number minus the first, and so on. For 4, 5, 25, 28, 32 the deltas are 4, 1, 20, 3, 4. Adding all deltas gives back the highest number.
- How to read it
- The table shows the typical size of each delta and the most common values. The pattern table shows whether the gaps between neighbours were small, medium or large.
- What it can't tell you
- Players who use the Delta System pick a set of deltas and convert them to numbers. This changes which tickets you play, not the chance that any ticket wins.
- Common misunderstanding
- 'Delta numbers reveal hidden structure.' Any pattern in the deltas is what random draws produce.
This site does not guarantee winning. Lottery draws are random and past results do not predict future results. Every chart here describes the past. It cannot raise your chances of winning.
