Last Digit
- What it is
- The final digit of each white ball (for 47 it is 7) and how those digits combine.
- How it is calculated
- We count how often each last digit appears and how many numbers in a draw share a digit. Digits 1-9 appear slightly more often than 0 simply because fewer numbers end in 0. A pattern like 2-1-1-1 means two numbers share a last digit.
- How to read it
- Compare each digit's count with the expected count (black tick). Twin-digit numbers are 11, 22, 33 and so on.
- What it can't tell you
- Last digits are a way of grouping numbers, not a predictor.
- Common misunderstanding
- 'A last digit that has been missing will show up soon.' Draws are independent.
