Gaps (Overdue)

What it is
How many draws have passed since each number last appeared.
How it is calculated
We walk through the draws in order and record, for each number, the draws since its last appearance, its average gap, and its longest gap. On average a white ball is missed for about (numbers / 5 - 1) draws between appearances.
How to read it
A big 'gap now' is called 'overdue'. Compare it with the average and longest gap to see whether it is unusual. Long gaps do happen regularly.
What it can't tell you
A number that has been missing is not more likely to come next. The balls have no memory.
Common misunderstanding
'Overdue numbers are due.' This is the gambler's fallacy: past misses do not change the next draw.
