High / Low
- What it is
- How many of the white balls come from the lower half of the range versus the upper half.
- How it is calculated
- Low means 1 up to half of the highest number, high means the rest. We count the low numbers in each draw and compare with the chance-based expectation.
- How to read it
- Mixed splits are most common. Look at whether the observed share sits close to the expected share.
- What it can't tell you
- It is a description of past draws only.
- Common misunderstanding
- 'You must pick some high and some low.' Any combination has the same chance of being drawn.
