Positional Frequency
- What it is
- Where the lowest, second lowest, ... highest number tend to land in each draw.
- How it is calculated
- Each draw is sorted, then we average the value at each position. By chance the i-th smallest of five numbers averages i x (N + 1) / 6.
- How to read it
- Position 1 is usually a small number, position 5 a large one. The averages should sit near the expected values.
- What it can't tell you
- It describes the shape of the draw, not the next result.
- Common misunderstanding
- 'The smallest number is always under 10.' It usually is, but not always.
This site does not guarantee winning. Lottery draws are random and past results do not predict future results. Every chart here describes the past. It cannot raise your chances of winning.
